Xuelei charts a new path for the fragrance industry through personalized services
Xuelei Fragrance Museum has been honored in the 8th Guangdong Museum Open Service Excellence Awards with the "Best Cultural and Creative Product Promotion" accolade. As one of Guangdong Province's first pilot enterprises for personalized cosmetic services, Xuelei has channeled over three decades of fragrance expertise into an on-demand customization experience for the public.

Visitors begin their journey with a "Fragrance Discovery Card," exploring more than 300 scent stations throughout the museum. Their preferences inform a personalized "Fragrance Journey Report" and bespoke formulation, prepared by an AI-powered blending system within three minutes. For hands-on engagement, the DIY Atelier invites guests to compose their own perfumes and candles—creating something uniquely theirs in real time. Together, precision technology and artisanal craft meet the growing desire for personalization and immersive experiences.

Supported by modular production and digital formulation systems, Xuelei delivers single-unit customization with immediate fulfillment, enabling a responsive, low-volume, high-variety operational model. The museum has developed co-branded limited editions with partners including the Wu Culture Museum and the 15th National Games, extending fragrance from a standardized consumer good into a customizable medium for cultural IP and tourism.

Preference data continuously gathered through the museum's fragrance system feeds directly back into product development and scent iteration, establishing a closed-loop ecosystem of exhibition, experience, consumption, and research. This consumer-driven model offers a practical reference for the cosmetics industry's evolution from traditional manufacturing to service-oriented production.

Based in Baiyun District, Guangzhou—a major cosmetics industry hub—Xuelei bridges intelligent manufacturing with cultural consumption, charting a differentiated course for Chinese fragrance on the global stage and offering a sustainable model for bringing Eastern scent traditions to the world.
