Start with a clear smell, not the word “luxury.”
Tell the perfumer who the product is for, where it will be sold, what you want people to smell first, how you want the dry-down to feel, and what you do not want. That is more useful than asking for a “premium floral” or a “high-end woody scent.”

What buyers usually ask before starting a fragrance project.
What is the minimum order quantity?
XUELEI states a typical MOQ of 5,000 - 10,000 units per fragrance. The exact quantity depends on the bottle, pump, cap, decoration, packaging and final specification.
Can you create a new scent for my brand?
Yes. A project can start from XUELEI's 50,000+ scent library or from a custom fragrance brief. Samples are reviewed and adjusted before bulk production approval.
Can you manufacture an existing formula and design?
Yes. OEM projects can start from an existing formula, bottle design, artwork or full product specification. Technical feasibility, compliance and sample approval should be confirmed before production.
Can you make a custom perfume bottle?
Yes. XUELEI states that it has more than 23,000 catalog bottle designs and also supports custom mold tooling. Tooling cost, MOQ and timing depend on the design and should be confirmed in the quotation.
What should I approve before mass production?
At minimum, approve the scent or formula, bottle, pump, cap, decoration, carton, artwork and a physical product sample. The written specification should match the sample that will be used as the production reference.
What quality control does XUELEI use?
XUELEI states that each batch goes through a 43-point framework with 29 appearance checks and 14 performance tests. Your purchase specification should still state the acceptance criteria that matter for your product.
